Admission

The prospectus includes a registration form, which must be submitted to initiate the admission process. However, submitting the form does not guarantee admission. Applicants are required to appear for an interview or an admission test as part of the selection process. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Admission Rules

  • Admission is purely based on academic grounds, irrespective of caste, creed, and community.
  • Every candidate must be registered before admission.
  • If coming from outside Jharkhand, the leaving certificate must be countersigned by the Education Officer.
  • At the time of admission, students must submit a leaving certificate from their last attended school.

Fees

The schedule of fees is provided along with the registration form. Fees must be paid in quarterly installments throughout the academic year. Timely payment of school dues is essential to ensure the student’s eligibility to appear for semester examinations.

Withdrawal | Refund of Fees

New Students:
  • If a student is withdrawn or does not join before the academic year begins, the registration and admission fee will be forfeited, while the tuition fee will be refunded.
  • If a student joins the school and is withdrawn after the academic year starts, fees for one quarter and any other incurred expenses will be charged.

General Rules for Students

Parents must provide a three-month written notice for the withdrawal of their child. The Transfer Certificate (TC) will only be issued after all dues have been cleared and the necessary formalities are completed. The TC will be provided one week after the completion of the required procedures.

  • All students are expected to communicate in English within the school premises.
  • Leave is not permitted during the academic term except in cases of urgent or humanitarian reasons.
  • Unauthorized absence from school will be treated as serious misconduct.
  • Periodic progress reports will be sent to parents to update them on their child’s academic performance and behavior.
  • The Principal’s decision is final and binding in all matters related to academics, behavior, and student welfare.
  • Parents and guardians must comply with all school rules and regulations. Any disputes will be resolved solely by the Principal.
  • Damage to school property or loss of library books will be charged to the parents of the student responsible.
  • Birthdays should not be celebrated in school by distributing sweets or gifts.
  • Unwell students should not attend school. In case of a medical emergency, medical expenses and transport costs will be borne by the parents.
  • Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are strictly prohibited from attending school.
  • Any complaints or suggestions regarding school matters should be submitted to the Principal and not directly to class teachers.
  • Parents or guardians must obtain prior permission from the Principal before requesting a meeting with a teacher. They should not approach teachers directly in the classroom. Meeting timings are specified in the school almanac.
  • Violation of school rules may result in a fine or disciplinary action at the Principal’s discretion.

Discipline

  • Punctuality is mandatory—all students must reach the school on time.
  • Students and parents should refrain from offering gifts or presents to any staff member at any time.

Uniform

All students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all weekdays without any alterations. The uniform should always be clean and well-maintained.

Absence

  • Irregular attendance and unjustified absence may lead to dismissal.
  • Students should not be absent from school for celebrations such as engagements, marriages, or pujas.
  • Parents must write a note in the Leave and Absentee Record section of the school almanac if their child is absent, even for a single day. The note must be signed by both parents and the class teacher.
  • In case of prolonged illness, parents must immediately inform the Principal through a written letter on a neat sheet of paper enclosed in an envelope with the necessary details. A medical certificate is required for absences due to illness.
  • Attendance is mandatory on Independence Day, Republic Day, and the first and last working day of each academic session.
